Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs Scholarships

Since 1990, FMA's Foundation has awarded scholarships annually to students in courses of study that may lead to careers in manufacturing.

Eligibility

To apply, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled in or entering a post-secondary study program leading to a career in manufacturing technology.
  • Be a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA (for a university scholarship) or a 2.5 GPA (for trade school or community/technical two-year college scholarship).

Upon being selected a winner via award notification, you must:

  • Become a student member* of FMA, TPA or OPC if no active membership affiliation exists in any one of the following categories:
    • Winner is a student or basic member
    • Winner is the child of a basic member
    • Winner is an employee of an Advantage-level member company
    • Winner is the child of an employee of an Advantage-level member company

In addition to the scholarship award provided by NBT, all winners will receive a student version of Solidworks™ CAD software.

Application Process

Submit a completed online application form and other supporting materials by the application deadline.To be eligible for consideration, all materials must ARRIVE at NBT prior to 5 p.m. on April 1, 2010.
