Miller’s Donation Ensures a Bright Future for Wisconsin Manufacturing

Categories:Across the state of Wisconsin, 12 camps serving 200 students will benefit from the generous support of a $10,000 donation from Appleton, Wisconsin-based Miller Electric Mfg. LLC. The camps will enable students to do something a little different this summer — learn manufacturing skills.
“Miller Electric Mfg. LLC believes welding is a key process to the future of manufacturing. We are proud to provide camp and scholarship donations for the young people to connect with a career in such fields. Welding is a key part to the manufacturing economy, and we need these future leaders to keep it going,” said Bruce Albrecht, vice president, global innovation and technology, Miller Electric Mfg. LLC.

NBT Summer Manufacturing Season is Here
Last week kicked off the busy NBT summer manufacturing camp season with 130 camps taking place across the U.S. Students will have the opportunity to create their own projects using advanced manufacturing equipment and tools that are new to them. Camps teach entrepreneurial skills, encourage creativity, inspire confidence, and keep students engaged in a safe and fun environment.
