Through its manufacturing summer camps and scholarships, NBT is inspiring the next generation of manufacturers, inventors and entrepreneurs ... one tinkerer at a time. This site contains information on the urgent need to engage young people in career preparation for well-paid, fulfilling jobs that require hands-on skills.

Mission

The mission of Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs is to nurture the tinkering spirit.

Goals

  • NBT will be the recognized resource for career development information programs, outreach, training, and services to facilitate a skilled manufacturing work force.
  • NBT will be the recognized voice for the general public awareness of the challenge and solutions for renewing the future manufacturing work force.
